Merge

Right now this article is, IMHO, fairly poor. I don't really see why it even needs to exist independently of cosmological argument and creation belief, so I have set up a proposal to merge. Feel free to debate the point if you disagree with me. -- FirstPrinciples 19:39, Feb 9, 2005 (UTC)

i think we should merge the creation stories after the thomistic "first cause" section to creation belief -- but "first cause" itself is a very distinct and unique idea, and i think it needs to remain in its own article. what do you think? Ungtss 14:10, 10 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for moving the creation stories. I don't think they belonged here. As for the remainder of first cause... I really don't see why it needs to be an article distinct from cosmological argument. If you compare the two articles, cosmological argument seems to deal well with all the issues. Discussion of 'first cause' would better serve as a subsection of that article. As such I would prefer first cause to be fully merged and set up as a simple redirect. Of course, if you (or anyone else) feel strongly in favour of keeping the status quo, I'm happy to accept that too. -- FirstPrinciples 05:54, Feb 11, 2005 (UTC)
