[edit]There's been a lot of misconception about the Balinese caste system. I am glad Wikipedia is listing it with relatively good accuracy. I am now fixing some tiny bits of info on spelling and caste classification.
Order
[edit]Is there a reason the castes are listed in that order? In discussions of Indian castes, the order is always the other way, and unless there is a good reason, it seems less confusing if this article followed that. Rigadoun (talk) 22:42, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
93% of Population...
[edit]Goodness, gracious, 1930's reference book. Back then Bali would be of population 100 or so (you get the idea). More recently there have been many edicts issued by the religious authority confirming more and more people of higher caste descendency. Will look it up and change if I get a chance. 120.16.223.179 (talk) 15:45, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
Page title
[edit]Please change the title as Balinese Varna system because fourfold varna is different from caste system Tiruchengode (talk) 07:03, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
