User talk:Zinoviev
I cleaned up the Albanians in the Republic of Macedonia page. Is there anything else you'd like to change on the page? freestylefrappe 23:30, Apr 23, 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks. I commented on the discussion page. --Zinoviev 14:35, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Tsargrad
[edit]Hi Zinoviev. thanks for your comment and trust me that it was not a matter of 'bad behaviour' on my behalf. i am sorry for not noticing your long explanation on the talk page, which i have to say is rather informative! maybe my edit summary was not clear enough... i know the meaning of the word 'tsar' and were it derives from. i requested a citation on whether the slavs in the Balkans refered to the sultans as tsars in the meaning of 'Caesar'. i did not know that the word is and was used for every ruler (even as u mention, for the pharaohs...). so, i kidda considered it as a revitalisation of the claim that the 'ottoman sultans were succesors of the Roman and Byzantine emperors. perhaps we could add something like: 'In the vernacular of the Balkan Slavs the Ottoman sultans were called tsars, a title assigned to every ruler ', or something like that to make it clear and avoid possible future wrong interpretations. thanks for the notice and again sorry for not reading your post earlier. - I have already seen the change;). it is fine now. and now i know why u've changed 'balkan slavs' to 'bulgarians' (i did not know that difference in the usage of word 'tsar' by serbs and bulgarians). Cheers Hectorian 09:49, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
I am satisfied with the sources you've quoted on the AfD page; if you add them to the article itself, I will change my vote to Keep. Walton monarchist89 19:00, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Zinoviev. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Zinoviev~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
