The result of the debate was KEEP. —Korath (Talk) 01:20, Mar 6, 2005 (UTC)
Vanity? Canada-cruft? With 313 unique hits on google (see page 32) [1], does this poet pass the Pokémon Comparative Notability Test? GRider\talk 21:07, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Delete, just under the bar of notability. Megan1967 23:03, 22 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Keep, article makes him sound notable enough. Kappa 02:26, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)

- Keep. Granted he's not one of the superstars of Canadian literature, but he most certainly is a significant figure. It took me all of nine seconds to confirm that he's a frequent contributor to This Magazine, which is among that rare class of magazines in which getting published is in and of itself sufficient grounds to deem someone notable (cf. Harper's, Atlantic Monthly, The New Yorker.) Being managing editor of Coach House Press, a company whose small size belies its huge influence in CanLit, also qualifies, as does having edited the single most important and famous book of Canadian poetry published in at least the past decade. Oh, and just for the record, I get 51 pages of distinct Google hits, not 32. Bearcat 07:52, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- He fails the Pokemon test, but then again that's a rather strange criterium in the first place. Nevertheless, Keep but expand article with Bearcat's remarks. Radiant! 09:19, Feb 23, 2005 (UTC)
- Keep. Notable in Canadian literature. Capitalistroadster 11:03, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)

- Keep, eh? Notable. - Lucky 6.9 01:19, 24 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Keep. I agree with Bearcat. -- James Teterenko (talk) 05:30, 4 Mar 2005 (UTC)
