Merge
[edit]Merged info from the article Perry Saturn into this one and made the previous article into a redirect page. I merged the info into the Perry Satullo article instead of the Perry Saturn article because the Perry Satullo article was created a week earlier than the Perry Saturn one and apparently the adopted naming convention for professional wrestlers provides that they are usually listed under their real names. --Jtalledo 14:21, 14 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Not true
[edit]"On August 28, 1997 Satullo was offered a job by WCW road agent Terry Taylor, who had been impressed by a bump that Satullo had taken in a Scaffold Match." This is not true. The match this refers to is when Perry Saturn (with a full leg brace on) climbed a scaffold & did a flying elbow drop off of it onto one of the Dudleys (I believe it was Bubba but could be wrong). The Eliminators weren't in the scaffold match main event, "Prime-Time" Brian Lee & Tommy Dreamer were (aKa High Incident).--68.192.68.177 06:16, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
WCW Career
[edit]Where the hell is the information on his tenure in WCW? I swear it was on here before. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.182.158.164 (talk) 09:49, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
Shot
[edit]Anyone else think the part about him being shot should be seperated from the independent circuit section? With all the bizarre wrestling storylines, it's not abundantly clear that this man was actually physically shot in the neck while preventing a rape, which should in my opinion be the highlight of this entire hero. That one act alone makes him more of a hero in my eyes than anything inside the wrestling ring, and I think it at least deserves it's own section, or a note in Personal Life as opposed to being buried in the wrestling storylines. Perry's son
[edit]There is an article in a 2000 issue of the WCW magazine that states that Perry has a son named Rocky. I don't have an issue number but it would be really great if someone could find a source instead of just deleting the info. Thanks. (MgTurtle 02:53, 5 July 2007 (UTC)).

Now selling Doors
[edit]I think the bit about working at a door manufactuaring plant should be removed as the part stating so in the article is based upon a rumour. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.143.52.211 (talk) 18:02, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
I realise there are many many many fake Twitter accounts for wrestlers, celebrities, hell I think even I have one, but I beleive this one to be notable due to the circumsatances of Saturn's disapearence, the inclusion of a personal photograph, and especially becuase of the interaction with Saturn's friend Jericho. Obviously, the account appears to be a hoax but it's still rather compelling, and notable IMO. --Crestville (talk) 10:24, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Disagree. Not notable because the same could be said for any schmuck making a fake Twitter account. I'd prefer its removal because its either a hoax, making someone feel good about fake information on Wikipedia, or its really Saturn who went to effort to be off the map and should have his privacy. The Twitter information has next to no value....A picture and "He sent a message to Jericho" and that's it. MJ56003 (talk) 20:50, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
TNA Wrestling
[edit]Perry Saturn had a short run with TNA wrestling in 2003. Can somebody add this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.208.85.140 (talk) 22:57, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

Updated links regarding shooting incident
[edit]Greetings. I re-checked and then replaced a permanently dead news report cite regarding the shooting incident, and created a full (correct, I hope) cite av media to replace the bare inline YouTube cite.
- I searched for a news source about the shooting incident to replace the permanently dead link. I found a published source that is original reportage, not just a regurgitation of Wikipedia text.
- I replaced the bare youtube link related to this story, published by the same source. I attempted to create a full, correct cite AV media template. While reading the information on citing a YouTube video, I also read and tried to understand the COinS information. I can't figure out whether I put in the information correctly for the generation of that information. If I got it wrong or omitted anything, I would like to know where I went astray.
With regard to a remark above by TheJudge310 on 23 August 2007, the news source I've cited specifically says that Saturn was shot twice during the struggle with the two rapists. I agree that this was a heroic act in defense of another that's never received the attention it deserves. It should be broken out into a section of its own.
