Sourav Ganguly 1st India cricketer in 65 years to become BCCI president: Sourav Ganguly is all set to be elected unopposed as the new BCCI president. The former India captain filed his nomination for the coveted post on 14th October 2019 at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai. He was accompanied by former BCCI bosses Niranjan Shah and N Srinivasan as he became the only candidate to file the nomination. Aftabon (talk) 18:05, 14 October 2019 (UTC)

Edit Request:
"Regarded as one of the greatest captains of the Cricket World". This is an opinion. There is no citation for this nor is it a commonly accepted statement in the cricketing world. It looks like this was written by one of his Bengali fans. Strongly requesting to remove this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hayleycarr (talk • contribs) 03:14, 13 May 2020 (UTC)
