Syntax Errors
[edit]If you're going to make a large edit with advanced syntax, please check it before you commit the changes. notice there's a preview button? Having syntax errors on the live page looks pretty wack. I cleaned up the unclosed <ref> tags so the page is no longer broken but I don't know if all of them are accurate yet.
History
[edit]It seems to me odd and unfortunate that the "Dixon Period" subsection makes no mention of Jim Dixon, his role in shaping the image of the college, and the controversies which surrounded him during his tenure as president. Perhaps someone more qualified than I could take a crack at it? There are certainly plenty of news media sources which could be cited. Ramseyman (talk) 09:17, 18 February 2017 (UTC)
- Agreed. That section also says "The land development promoted progressive clean-sheet concepts," with no explanation. A Web search for "clean-sheet concepts" implies that this means starting with a fresh, blank, clean sheet of paper, but that doesn't explain the land development, or what made it (or the concepts) progressive.

"Lamb Slaughter Controversy"
[edit]Another editor is insistent that this article contain a new "Lamb Slaughter Controversy" section about this incident. This is a rather trivial incident that is not of lasting importance or signifance. ElKevbo (talk) 18:39, 23 August 2019 (UTC)

- The section on the Lamb Slaughter controversy was deleted and I'm requested that it be re-added. This controversy is ongoing, has a petition of over 83,000 signatures and an open letter of protest to Antioch's President Thomas Manley by over 100 professors worldwide. There are many articles on the controversy including the one in the Cleveland Plain Dealer (https://www.cleveland.com/entertainment/2019/08/wittenberg-professor-antioch-college-clash-over-fate-of-9-lambs.html) and another one more recently on 9/18/19 by Richard Wilson (Wilson R. Campaign against Antioch College sheep draws protest. Springfield News-Sun (OH). http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&db=n5h&AN=2W63535025672&site=eds-live. Published September 18, 2019. Accessed October 18, 2019.) The controversy is directly related to the issue of sustainability in a climate changing world where animal agriculture is a significant contributor. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lowellita (talk • contribs) 00:05, 19 October 2019 (UTC)
