Pronunciation
[edit]How do you pronounce his name? --202.47.49.11 02:53, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- Dong Fang-joo-oh – PeeJay 17:29, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- I always thought it was Dong Fang-joo. Or at least Dong Fang-jor Spiderone (talk) 15:40, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- You're probably right, actually, with maybe a slight modification to "Dong Fang-jwor". I used to do Mandarin, so I should be better at this. However, doing a pronunciation key without being fluent in the IPA is pretty hard. – PeeJay 18:07, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Pity!
[edit]He was able to score 4 goals in 3 matches in the reserves before suffering from injuries caused by the ferocious Blackburn defender! That was a pity!It was that savage defender who ruin the potential bright future of being the next Cristiano Ronaldo, the next Wayne Rooney, the next Golden Ball winner, the next World Footballer, the next Chinese Footballer and the next Asian Footballer. He will soon fall to become the next Qu Bo, the Chinese Michael Owen. This also ruin China bright future to recover from the trough they are currently having and the chance to win the Olympics gold medal, as well as the Asian Cup and the World Cup. The Chinese are going to face their deepest trough after the downfall of the Greatest Chinese Player and potential World Footballer King Dong. What a pity! The whole country will be in the blood of that disgusting, dirty, injustice, boorish, unmannerly, cruel, brutal, barbaric, fierce and foul Blackburn defender. No wonder Blackburn is the foulest team ever! Even their reserves are foul like that.-58.152.132.250 (talk) 11:28, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
- And in all of that, what's your source? I haven't seen a single one. Latics (talk) 12:46, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Back to China section
[edit]"Although the experience in the Manchester United made almost all people think there's no wonder Dong Fangzhuo would have a bright future, his performance in the Chinese Super League after return was very poor. Because of scoring no goal in a series of matches, Dong had to return to the reserves where he took a long time to stay in England. The poor performance in the league also made him not to be called for Chinese National Team."
what the fuck?
