Rest up!
[edit]Hey! I hear we have an injured editor in our midst. Fractured elbows + typing = not good! Don't worry about taking a break (or semi-break, I know leaving completely can cause more stress) to rest them up. If you want me to look after some stuff for you feel free to ask; my pages have all been (overly) quiet lately.
Get better soon! — Editor at Large(speak) 00:35, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
- Best wishes from me also. I'm a cyclist too--no injuries yet, knock on wood. I hope all is healed in time. --Fang Aili talk 17:44, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
Why uncited tag for Weikle ties?
[edit]Ken remarked on this on the message boards, as is noted in the paragraphs above the place where you inserted the uncited tag. Robert K S 12:10, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
Belt picture
[edit]It looks like the revert war over the belt broke the picture, and the ECW guy reuploaded under a different filename. I'm guessing the only way to fix the issue is for your version to be deleted and to reupload it. Robert K S 13:59, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Did the deletion of Nico Martinez's Wikipedia page also result in the deletion of the picture of him, which was in use elsewhere on Wikipedia, viz., Jeopardy! College Championship? Robert K S 21:17, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Re: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Richard Brittain
[edit]I've been watching the AfD, but thanks for the message anyway. I'm not the anonymous IP, by the way. Seeing as no page other than Richard Brittain is actually tagged to this AfD discussion, can we just strike out the bundling comment, and continue the AfD just for Richard Brittain, considering the others seperately? Since the other articles were never formally nominated for AfD, I don't think striking the comment would be vandalism. If you think that's a bad idea though, we can always wait for an admin to sort it out, then try again with a fresh AfD. —Swpb talk contribs 19:59, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Tony Dungy did not win a Super Bowl as an assistant coach. The achievement of Tom Flores and Mike Ditka involves a triple achievement - wins as a player, asst coach and head coach. Please see talkpage and also Dungy's article which correctly list his achievement. Ronbo76 04:49, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Ditto on reversing edit to Ditka's article. Ronbo76 04:50, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
The sports commentators are only mentioning them in terms of the dual achievement which is correctly listed on Dungy's article. The fact as listed on the other coaches' article is a more inclusive category or acheivement. Ronbo76 04:59, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Fair use images aren't allowed in user pages
[edit]I found you are using the fair use images listed below on your user page. As per Rule #9 of the fair use image rules, you will need to remove those image. You can link to them, but not display them. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
If you don't understand why this is nessecary, you can ask the administrator Durin. He is better at explaining the problem than I am. You could also go to the policy portion of the village pump and ask there.

I will probably check back in a day or so to verify the images were either removed or converted into links. If you need help making the change, let me know. Will (Talk - contribs) 06:57, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
Re:New Jeopardy! infobox
[edit]Did you mean the infobox or the succession box? I like the infobox, but I really don't think that a TV guide from the 70s is really necessary. Yes, I can start a discussion, but you know how to, too. I noticed that the person who added it had few edits and multiple were for the same thing, and the person who reverted mine seemed to be a sock. Reywas92Talk 01:38, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
WikiTrivia
[edit]I realize that you've been rather inactive here of late, but, knowing you to be as great a fan of trivia and trivia contests as I, I imagine that I must alert you to a proposal on MetaWiki for the creation of an (ostensibly English language) WikiTrivia project under the auspices of the Foundation. Whilst I don't imagine such proposal will be adopted (and whilst I'd likely oppose it as not properly falling within the goals of the Foundation), it'd be interesting nevertheless. Joe 20:53, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
...was apparently where the article eventually ended up before he deleted it. Robert K S 14:28, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- I came to ask what you meant, as there was nothing at the page that you linked to. The above article was speedied by me, "article about single that makes no claim to the significance of its subject". The article was made up almost entirely of a long (deprecated) "Trivia" section, and made no mention of any significance that the single had — no success on charts, etc. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 14:40, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- A position of eighty-one makes it significant? According to the proposal [(songs)], it had to be in the top 100 for at least six months (and even then it would only be possibly notable). I'm reviving the discussion of that proposal; perhaps you'd like to discuss the issues there, as you seem to have an interest in this area. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 15:34, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- If you decide to ring in on the AfD, you might note that the trivia section has been integrated and is no longer an issue. Love, Robert K S 09:17, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for your support and comments at my RfA | ||
Hi OntarioQuizzer, It still amazes me that otherwise "anonymous" editors take the time to place !votes and comments on RfAs. Whilst I would have normally thanked you at the time of you leaving your message, the importance of my not appearing to be canvassing prevented me from so doing. Now that everything has progressed successfully I can finally thank you. I intend to uphold a style of good adminship and will welcome your further comments at any time in the future, even if they are in the form of admonishment. I will be happy to help as an admin wherever and whenever I can --VS talk 22:57, 27 June 2007 (UTC) |

Fair use rationale for Image:Leeroy Jenkins Jeopardy clue.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Leeroy Jenkins Jeopardy clue.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.—♦♦ SʘʘTHING(Я) 05:40, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
I agree. I listed the precedent at WP:EiC. So if you see lists of Presidents/executives, feel free to remove them. And yeah, par them down. WP:N, WP:BIO, and WP:V/WP:CITE are all good arguments. GreenJoe 22:18, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Brock University Students' Union
[edit]An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Brock University Students' Union. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Brock University Students' Union. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:19, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Articles for deletion nomination of Celeste DiNucci
[edit]I have nominated Celeste DiNucci, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Celeste DiNucci. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

The article Extreme Couponing has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Un-remarkable TV show with no refrences.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Oddbodz (talk) 20:44, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
