• al-Hajri inscription, 31 AH[1]: contains the basmala.
• Hafnat al-Abyad stone, 64 AH[2]. No Qur'an, but contains several familiar formulas: the basmala and part of the usual Eid dua, as well as "Amin Rabb al Alamin".
• The inscriptions at the Dome of the Rock, 72 AH[3]. Contains various Qur'anic verses.
• Uthman ibn Wahran inscriptions, Makka
  • 80 AH[4]. Contains Qur'an 38:26.
  • 1st century AH.[5] Contains Qur'an 56:28-40, with one addition.
• Abdallah ibn Ammarah inscription[6], 80 AH, Makka. Contains a mixture of 4:1, 2:21 and 2:189.
• Hakim ibn Ammarah inscription[7], 84 AH, Makka. Contains Qur'an 20:130.
• Ali ibn Abdallah inscription[8], 93 AH, Jabal Usays. Contains part of Ayat al-Kursi.
• Umayyah ibn Abd al-Malik inscription[9], 98 AH, Makka. Contains 65:3 slightly modified.
