- PERF 558, 22 AH: contains the basmala.
- al-Hajri inscription, 31 AH[1]: contains the basmala.
- Hafnat al-Abyad stone, 64 AH[2]. No Qur'an, but contains several familiar formulas: the basmala and part of the usual Eid dua, as well as "Amin Rabb al Alamin".
- The inscriptions at the Dome of the Rock, 72 AH[3]. Contains various Qur'anic verses.
- Uthman ibn Wahran inscriptions, Makka
- Abdallah ibn Ammarah inscription[6], 80 AH, Makka. Contains a mixture of 4:1, 2:21 and 2:189.
- Hakim ibn Ammarah inscription[7], 84 AH, Makka. Contains Qur'an 20:130.
- Ali ibn Abdallah inscription[8], 93 AH, Jabal Usays. Contains part of Ayat al-Kursi.
- Umayyah ibn Abd al-Malik inscription[9], 98 AH, Makka. Contains 65:3 slightly modified.
