[edit]This is the same language as SENĆOŦEN, right? - Cymydog Naakka 04:00, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- This article should be entitled "Saanich, First Nation" while "Saanich, Greater Victoria" should become "Saanich" - more hits on the Saanich City site. Thank you.
- Actually, I reccomed this become "Saanich First Nation" refering the political indian act gov't, then Wsanec become the ethno/cultural/history article. See Squamish Nation and Sḵwxwú7mesh for an idea of how it would work. This is a better way to catergorize all of the Indigenous people and slightly easy to understand since the First Nation's term is contreyversial and, refers to the post-contact insitution of the Band Council system of government. Saanich is much more commonly used to refer to the municipality and the peninsula than the First Nation. This page's name should be Saanich (First Nation) and Saanich should either redirect to Saanich, British Columbia or be a disambiguation page. Korandder 09:17, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
- I vote for disambig page for all of them. I'll work on it more this week. OldManRivers 20:14, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

islands and coasts
[edit]from the north coast of the Gulf and San Juan Islands,
Should that be from the northern Gulf and San Juan Islands,
or did they really shun each island's south shore? —Tamfang (talk) 05:06, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
