Not a Canuck
[edit]Schneider may sign with the Canucks but he sure is not one yet.96.50.211.73 (talk) 20:00, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry.. contributions are completely welcome, but you absolutely have to have a reliable source before you do. Otherwise, what's to stop anybody from putting whatever they like onto an article? Orlandkurtenbach (talk) 21:05, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Schneider was never Isles captain
[edit]I don't know who or why is trying to put this information out there, but he never wore the C, though he was one of a small handful of veteran leaders on a young Isles team. Croctotheface 00:54, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Yeah he was, you can see it clearly in this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tveMaXFvFe8 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.50.211.73 (talk) 19:58, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Transactions
[edit]Do we really need transactions spelled out in the main body, and then again in bullet points below?
I've tried erasing it, but it gets put back.
Seems rather redundant.
- There is too much detail on transactions in the main body. When you are summarizing the playing career in the main body, you should be describing the playing career, the player's play, highlights etc. Transaction details belong in the list below Alaney2k (talk) 20:43, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
Personal life
[edit]I think we should delete the section as it is out of date and unsourced. Acebulf (talk) 19:08, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

Schneider's children
[edit]The names of Schneider's children aren't really pertinent, especially if non-notable, per WP:BLPNAME: "The names of any immediate, former, or significant family members or any significant relationship of the subject of a BLP may be part of an article, if reliably sourced, subject to editorial discretion that such information is relevant to a reader's complete understanding of the subject. However, names of family members who are not also notable public figures must be removed from an article if they are not properly sourced." (emphasis added) The Jewish Journal source only names the eldest child, since that article was published in 2001; I removed the list of names since the source does not back that list up. If Schneider has as many as four children now, certainly most are minors and shouldn't be named without a reliable source and discussion here. Echoedmyron (talk) 13:21, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
