Title of Devil Dogs article
[edit]This article used to be called "Devil dogs" with a lowercase d, which is no good. You changed it to "The Devil Dogs," which is better. But it would be best if the aritcle were simply called "Devil Dogs" with a capital D. Since, in its current incarnation, the article provides information about the snack product AND the band, "Devil Dogs" would more sensibly apply to both.
I also don't like how when you changed the name of the article (or redirected, or whatever it is you did), you can no longer see the edit history for the article, which might be interesting to some people.

- "St. Louie Louie" does not pass Wikipedia:Notability (web). It is a new forum with 13 members. Currently the site has no pertinent information about St. Louis. It appears to be a cheap clone of the existing forum link. Wikipedia is not a soapbox to promote your new personal site. Wikipedia is not a link farm. Please do not re-add the link. - Whoa a little intense response on my talk page! I'm sorry I'm making Wikipedia "Annoying as hell to use" for you. I am just enforcing the rules. I think it's great that you started your own forum, but Wikipedia is not a vessel for you to use to advertise/promote your new forum. The other forum link is only allowed to remain because it is the current dominant forum for St. Louis. Evidence was shown that various city officials post there, and it is widely known and the best source of information on St. Louis. Wikipedia is a source for information, not advertisements/self-promotion. It is against Wikipedia policy to post any external links to sites you are affiliated with, check the links I posted for confirmation of that rule if you wish. - Hey man, thanks for posting on my talk page. Yeah, Gamer83 is a Wiktator. I agree that people like him make Wikipedia a painful place to edit. Apparantly my site having 200+ articles about St. Louis and over 900 unique hits in just over 2 weeks doesn't make it notable...so I duno what will in his eyes. Anyways, lets work together to promote our sites. What do you have in mind? I'd actually looked at the Low Life guide a few times before, you should contribute that info to WikiLou, if it's still kicking around and you have time. I've been planning on making quarter sheet fliers to hand out at events around St. Louis. Maybe we can team up on that? WikiLou on one said, St. Louie Louie on the other? Lemme know. Firstly, may I suggest that you look at WP:CIVIL? Personal insult does not help your argument. The reason for the deletion of this article does not depend on my supposed musical ignorance, nor on my personal opinion. It is based on the wikipedia policy in WP:MUSIC. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. While looking at the edit history, I noticed that you were one of the earliest editors to work on the Garage rock article, and, when viewing your user page, just now, I noticed that you also run the Garage Punk Hideout website. I love reading Garage Punk Hideout regularly (and religiously). It is a great place to get information and read discussions. I should probably get in on some of those threads--if I weren't so busy doing this Wiki stuff.
