Wondering how to edit this U.S. City Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Cities standards might help.

Big Pine vs. Manzanar High School foot ball game
[edit]During WWII the Big Pine High School football team played a game against the Manzanar Relocation Center high school football team.
Several teams in Owens Valley had refused to play against the Manzanar teams. Big Pine broke with them and went to play a game there.
The OC Register ran an article about the game and the story surrounding it: http://www.ocregister.com/articles/nakano-269836-manzanar-school.html
I was going to just add it to the external links section but this article doesn't have an external links section and I wasn't sure that this was a valuable enough link to justify the creation of the section for it.
I thought it might be an important enough story that it might be mentioned in the history section of the article, but I thought the principle editors of the article should make that decision. --Davefoc (talk) 20:43, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
